I disagree completely with your remarks about EBAY and coins. I am not saying that its perfect, but I have never had a bad experience. I have bought over 100 coins on Ebay without a problem and I have sold about 60, including gold coins like this:

cgi.ebay.com

and this is what the buyers have said:

cgi2.ebay.com

The closest episode to a problem I had was when I bought a coin for about $100. It never arrived. After two months the seller sent my money back. The day after the refund check arrived, the coin arrived from the post office post marked 3 months earlier!! I bitched to the post master and all he could say was "We're not perfect".
