Elmer,

Jozef this statement of yours is a total fabrication and has no basis in fact.

Can you point me to some evidence of this fact?

My Visual C++ compiler was released before Coppermine, so there is no way Microsoft could have incorporated Intel compiler technology into this compiler. It happens to be the latest version, so VAST majority of code out there in commercial apps are not using this technology. The technology from VC++ compiler is used in Visual Basic, meaning that majority of custom programs in the world are not using Intel compiler.

I wonder how suitable the Intel compiler would be in real world, since the majority of installed base of computers are not Coppermines, and I can't see the vendors distributing multiple executables.

Looking an Borland, the number 2 compiler vendor - again not Intel optimization for Coppermine incorporated.

Intel's compilers are used by numerous commercial software suppliers.
