q y: I read the article again and my conclusion is that either you or I can not understand it. The article said $240 in subscription and $30 in other stuff, and then it wanted to value the stock at $750 per subscriber. I don't see the context imply that $240 and $30 add up to $750, instead, I see it imply that $750 is the reasonable valuation for a company that generates that kind of revenue. BTW, I read the part of $80-100 again and I found that it was the projection from brokerage firms. The Fools only said that these numbers started to make sense if you assumed subscriptions would increase to 13MM.

I don't own AOL and I have no interests of talking up AOL, but I want to make the fact straight here. I highly respect the Motley Fools and I want to say something when I see postings attacking them with distorted excerpts of their article.
