Haqi, I, too, am into my twilight years. I could be wrong but, I believe that people of our generation and older, are the ones most concerned by the direction that leaders such as bill/hill/reno are taking the nation.
I don't think younger generations realize what danger awaits them further down the current path. After all, they are the milk and honey crowd... the beneficiaries of the sacrifices endured by all who have gone before them. Most of them have never experienced the rigors, discipline and team spirit of military service... or the wretched horrors of war. They don't even know what a true "bear" market is, much less a full-blown recession or, God forbid, a depression.
In short, I have serious doubts that the younger folks will have the will, or be able to endure the sacrifices that will be necessary to return the nation to a more traditional path.
I suspect that they'll tend to disbelieve all the signs that their freedoms are being seriously eroded, until it is too late. As a matter of fact, it's already happening.
Then, comes the really big choices.
