ehopper, I actually did not think that you were being self effacing with your "unfortunate" remark <g>. It was difficult to interpret out of context, however.

I see your point about the direction of wireless Europe toward some sort of CDMA.

WRT the royalties question, I do not know the answer, and I wonder if there are any WCDMA and/or CDMA2000 royalty contracts in place. Obviously Dr. J. is positioning QCOM to be in a reasonable negotiating position.
