>>How many of you rewrite over your Zip disks? If you do, do you realize that IOM's master plan of selling Zip disks like razor blades is rather flawed. The razor blade model is premised on the idea of downloading something cool onto your zip disk and keeping it, thus necessitating the purchase of another disk.<<

You've got to be kidding! I have projects on my Zip disks. I rewrite and rewrite over those files until the project is finished or put on hold. I then do not throw away the files, but keep them on their Zip disk for possible future use. In fact I use other Zips to back that data up. I *never* use my computer's hard disk for my work as I prefer the safety, reliability, and portability of the Zips.
