McNealy's just jealous because he hasn't figured out how to exploit the 'idiot segment' of the population. Apparently idiots prefer windows to the thin client.

Why do idiots deserve government protection? That seems to go against natural selection.

In any event since McNealy has failed to capture certain large revenue streams (the idiot segment), all he can do is sit there and complain something like the pot calling the kettle black.

It's not really that MSFT is "unfair" (life isn't fair and legislation NEVER fixes that) -- it's really just that these silicon valley whiners (and utah whackos) failed to capitalize on the idiots and they're jealous about that.

No one ever went broke underestimating peoples' tastes; and that's what really gets the goat of all of MSFT's competitors.

It would be interesting to see if SUNW were to establish a client in the hands of say 100 million users. I wonder if there would be virii on that platform? My guess would be an emphatic, 'YES.'

In a way these guys from Sun et al remind me of Newt Gingrich back in the '80s... while they have little influence they certainly talk the talk, but any thinking person knows that - if given the chance - these guys will never walk the walk.
