Creative Host Services' Initial 1.15 Mln Shares Priced at 4 1/2
7/22/97 11:9 (New York)

San Diego, July 22 (Bloomberg) -- Creative Host Services Inc.
sold 1.15 million shares at 4 1/2 in a $5.2 million initial public
offering.
The San Diego-based operator of food, beverage and other
airport concessions had expected to sell 1 million shares at 4 1/2
to 5 1/2, according to its registration statement filed with the
Securities and Exchange Commission.
The sale, led by Cohig & Associates, raised $4.7 million for
the company after fees.
The gross spread, or the difference between the price paid to
the issuer and the price at which the shares are sold, was 45 cents
a share.
The selling concession, or the amount per share allocated to
members of the selling group, was 22.5 cents.
The management fee was 18 cents. The underwriting fee was 4.5
cents.
The shares sold represent 37.6 percent of the company, valuing
it at $13.8 million.
The trade date is July 22. Settlement is scheduled for
July 25.
