I find the successful 'trader' to be a bit of an urban myth. --- I think the great levelers of the SEC and the Internet give the individual a very unique leg up in the area of attaining and retaining wealth through equities. I think that advantage gets lost when people start subscribing to popular theories and market 'technicals'. The individual in fact has the advantage of not having to appear busy or show results quarterly. I've met quite a few people who have been as successful as I have 'investing'. I've not met anyone yet who has been a 'trader' and accomplished that same feat. (FWIW) -JCJ
