I spoke with Rod Rice CFO BFX today. News release out monday. April
saw record sales again,in fact they have had record sales every month
this year so far! Infomercials doing very well on regional sports
type channels. Rice says infomercials are profitable before end of
spots.They plan on doubling ad budget every quarter through end of
year. He just returned from Canada where he met with brokers. Even
with a strong balance sheet and record sales brokers are hesitant
to reco any stock right now because of the Bre-x debaucle. Many of
the brokers clients are in mining stocks which in general are down
20-35%.Brokers say it may be another 2-3 weeks until things quiet
down a bit. BFX now has one analyst looking at the company which
is great news. No insiders are selling. In general, Mr. Rice is
very disappointed in the stocks recent activity but knows he has
to get more brokers and analysts following to get this puppy moving.
He is very confidant the picture will be much brighter in the months
to come.
