NTAP purchases Orca: biz.yahoo.com This virtual interface stuff looks like it might be a way to seamlessly manage NAS and SAN? Might also be that this purchase is intended to buy an engineering team/knowledge - of course, the tricky part there is getting them to stay with the company and be productive. Anyone know how many bodies exist at Orca and their quality? This is only the second purchase of talent/product for NTAP, the other being the Netcache caching software team. Hopefully this purchase is just as successful to the top/bottom line soon.
