I'm looking at websites, but I haven't found an answer yet. A lot would depend on the the temperature reached during the fire.

I viewed a cremation once and it seems to me it took a good while, but not really that long to when the flesh was gone.

Did ya know that there are bits of bone left when they are done with you and that they run those through a grinder, so that the leftover people get that neat pile of ash and dusty stuff?
