NEW YORK, June 12 (Reuters) - Brazilian mobile telephone operator Telesp Celular Participacoes S.A. (NYSE:TCP) said Monday it promoted Abilio Anca Henriques to president and chief executive officer.
Anca Henriques, 48, succeeds Jose Manuel Romao Mateus as chief executive. Mateus died on May 24 in a Sao Paulo hospital, after serving as Telesp Celular's chief executive for nearly two years.
