Motley Fool had a post on bio of Dave Ford, CEO of Orca.
Looks good to me:

See: infinityio.com

"David Ford is CEO of Orca Systems, a Fibre Channel and VI Architecture
consulting and product development company based in Watertown, MA.

David has over twenty years of system architecture and design experience. He
has focused on architecting, designing and delivering highly scalable clusters and I/O subsystems for commercial applications. David was a founder of Hydra
Computer Systems, which become Encore Computer. While at Encore, he
developed three generations of scalable clusters, including Gigamax, the world's
first cache coherent distributed shared memory cluster.

David has been very active in working on standards for high performance interconnects. He was a principal
contributor to the Scalable Coherent Interconnect (SCI). David has been an active contributor to ANSI T11. He
contributed the Selective Replicate function for FC-AL. He authored the Register Insertion Protocol (RIP)
proposal, which has served as the basis for FC-AL-3. He currently serves as the Facilitator for the FC-VI
Project, which is mapping the VI Architecture to Fibre Channel."
