Management should have reacted faster, but either way the news is still bad.

I don't believe they selectively disclosed info as some on this thread believe. In fact the CFO purposefully did not enter a situation in which such a thing would have been unavoidable. It just so happens that fund managers and analysts have been burned by this "no show" before and have learned to sell first ask questions later. The large selling produced a snow ball effect and in fact here we are. The problem is that skipping an opportunity to selectively disclose info is itself a form of communication. Nothing to be done about that. Hopefully management is being honest about demand and CTXS will eventually recover.
I am more concerned with managements' strategy for dealing with the problem which appears to be missing. Unless you consider waiting for the problem to go away a strategy.
