Re: "I tried to be nice. I tried to bend over backwards"

It looked to me like you were bending over forwards.

Re: "As for the SPEC codes using gcc see webuser.main-rheiner.de. Intel's compiler is not available under Linux and they probably used gcc"

Didn't you even look at the link you just posted? It says Windows NT but that doesn't matter. The important point is it looks like you've uncovered benchmarks for the old Katmai version of the PIII, not CuMine. The only speed listed is 600MHz, the last Katmai speed offered. I can't read German and I can't see any platform description but that's the way it looks to me. Now go back and try again and be a little more diligent next time will you?

Re: "I have noticed, you still have not found a commercial application compiled by the "Hyperoptimizing" VFC 4.5 compiler asked of you by Joe"

Pete, this is dumb. Such information is not public. Jozef made the claim that nobody uses it, presented no data to back up his claim, and you think it is my responsibility to prove him wrong?

I must give you credit though, you've provided your own data that proves you wrong.
