t2, granted i can be seen as biased as a stockholder but all along it has seemed to me that jackson has had an axe to grind against msft. it is as if he took a position without having a handle on the technology or the changing tech landscape simply because msft garnered 90% of a market through shrewd business practices. His outbursts and his rash, one sided judgements seem easy prey.

i don't have a decent handle on the judicial process but it seems so unfortunate that one cranky judge can hold so much sway over a company. the judge has made it clear that he has a pitiful feel for the technology and it seems to me that he has chosen to be putty in the hands of the doj rather than obviate his ignorance by challenging their accusations. a sad time for america. hopefully we have better luck with 7 judges
