E, That post was intended to poke fun at most religions, including Catholics. Being politically correct doesn't always make for good humor. Tomorrow I'll post you a few good Italian jokes I just recently heard which do NOT offend me at all. If you don't like the tone of the post I apologize. But in that case you should also defend the Hare Krishnas, Muslims and Evangelists which I also referred to and not just take offence to the Jewish remark. Vince PS - Incidentally, my reference to the Jews was following a discussion I had recently with my jeweler's son who happens to be an Orthodox Jew. Our discussion revolved around the lack of morals in today's American society and how the same lack of morality was what eventually destroyed the Roman Empire. In our discussion he insisted that the Jewish religion survived intact for thousands of years when others fell because they are the chosen people. Arabs, in his opinion, were animals and Christians were worshipping icons. I found his attitude arrogant. But then again, it wasn't the first time I heard an Orthodox Jew have such contempt for non-jews.
