I'll try one last time: I would admit that few developers use Intel's compiler to build 100% of the application (i.e. exclusively). However, I will stand behind the statement that I made before that A LOT of software uses the Intel compiler for key performance parts (i.e. you might have your performance critical functions in a single or couple of source files that are compiled with the Intel compiler and then linked under MS VC with the rest of the sources - A VERY COMMON practice). I won't go on with this anymore. I can't provide proof to you (other than what I already mentioned) since much of this information (i.e. what companies use what development environment, etc) is confidential. I'll stop here.
