Morning wily', just an update. Don't have my DSL yet. Gave them 149$ to check me out, install, and for 1 month service, came out, said Hello and haven't heard from them. Told me, maybe August.
Got the 533a, Golden Orb, Abit SlotKet !!!, total about $125 from Allstarshop.com. Updated bios to QN, the one released after the Beta. Installed, it pops up at 800mHz, went to 896, seems a little hazy, went to 992MHz, got a few errors, dropped back to 800, engaged Turbo, running at 824.7 at 1.7 volt. This with 64MB PC100 Corsair cas2. Maybe with PC133 I could reach the 896 @112 FSB without damage to PCI & AGP. Don't know what would happen with them at 992!!.
The BH6 rev 1.0x only has 7 FSB, the BH6 rev 1.1x has 32 FSB. Grabbed one from e-bay for $70, re-furb, looks New. I'll install it one of these days and perhaps gradually up the FSB and see!!!
The FC-PGA 566 with a 8.5x multiplier only $3 more than the 533a now. This would be way to go. The new QN bios gives options of 9x multiplier.
