It comes as no surprise that ULBI would attempt to sell Li poly rechargable batteries through retail channels set up for their other product, the smoke alarm battery. As far as margins, retail trade has not been kind to this company sofar. The fact that it's a Nokia replacement battery is a no brainer considering the popularity of this phone and does not evidence any kind of "relationship". In any case, this has nothing to do with Valence's business strategy. The suggestion that they should devote some of their production capacity to retail when OEM's have already offered to accept their entire output, is spurious.
