Heinz, an obvious point worth mentioning is that the technology industry reports their financial results in nominal dollars not chain -weighted dollars. Perhaps the tech companies and wall St should lobby FASB to permit reporting results in chain-weight dollars to create the illusion of a profit boom. -g- HO HO HO Mike
