I still don't understand why it matters whether Bilow is short or not. If he declares that he is short, would the issues that he raises all of a sudden become invalid? Or would they have more meaning? The fact that you are long is irrelevant to me, that's for sure. If you bring up an important issue, I would research that issue no matter what your position in the stock. And if that issue ended up being important to my position, I would take action.
