Well I agree with what you say. unfortunately there are big differences between US and many countries in the world. They are not as young as the US, not as rich (size, natural resources, small population etc.)as the US and they cant change their centuries old ways overnight.

When we stop having the lowest tax rate

Here I beg to differ with you. Even poor countires like India abolished Estate and gift taxes back in the 1980's. They just dont make any sense since you work your butt off for your family and then the gummint takes a huge chucnk away when u die.

The tax rate is also much lower in Inida than in the US. 30% federal. No state tax. And in realit even lower since most of the biz is doen in cash and not reported.

No taxes on stock trades.

Most disputes settled lcoally rather than in courts. hence very few lawwyers to screw the country out of time, money and productivity.
