H‚roux Inc. Takes up and Accepts for Payment 90.78% of the Multiple Voting Shares
and 85.19% of the Subordinate Voting Shares of Devtek Corporation and Extends its
Offer

MONTREAL, June 12 /CNW/ - H‚roux Inc. announced today that it has, along
with its wholly-owned subsidiary, 1410740 Ontario Limited, taken up and
accepted for payment 90.78% of the outstanding Multiple Voting Shares and
85.19% of the outstanding Subordinate Voting Shares of Devtek Corporation,
pursuant to its offer dated May 19, 2000, on the basis of, at the option of
the holder, Cdn. $3.50 in cash per share or 0.833 H‚roux common shares per
share, subject to a maximum aggregate cash consideration and a maximum
aggregate H‚roux shares consideration (and corresponding pro-ration).
H‚roux has also announced that its offer has been extended to Thursday,
June 22, 2000, at 8:00 p.m. (Montreal time) in order to give those Devtek
shareholders who have not yet tendered their shares into the offer the
opportunity to do so.
