Olympic Cascade Financial Corporation Names Mark Goldwasser Managing Director

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 2000--Olympic Cascade Financial Corporation
(Nasdaq: NATS and CHX:OLY)announced today that the company has appointed Mark
Goldwasser as Managing Director.

Mr. Goldwasser will be responsible for institutional sales for National Securities Corporation, a
wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and the development of new business opportunities in
financial services for Olympic.

Mr. Goldwasser has over 20 years experience on Wall Street, most recently as a Managing
Director and head of global high yield sales at ING Barings. During his career, he has also been
associated with Bear Stearns, Lazard Freres and Schroders.
