Speaking of great whites, there was another shark attack yesterday. I guess you read about the one in Alabama last week, two men were attacked swimming at Gulf Shores, Alabama? One lost his arm above the elbow, the other was bitten a couple of times. The latest attack was off the coast of Pensacola, the shark bit part of a boat - something swimmers use to climb back in the board. The people on the boat said the shark was about eight feet long. That's actually rather large for a shark.<edit - not, CNN reports it was a bull shark, which can get up to 11 ft long.>

Wonder if it's the same shark or if there are more than one? Kind of upsetting because I was planning on making a trip to the Gulf Coast to go swimming. I would probably be brave enough to swim, but I wouldn't let the kids go in now.
