again, sorry to be so dense, but the fibre channel connects up with whatever medium the internet protocol data is traveling in thru an "interface" and then somehow is connected to Cisco's catalyst switch.
What is a catalyst switch? What is the interface you mention>
FIbre chanenel product (switch) made by Brocade then becomes a de facto standard link to the IP data anywhere in the world?...
BUt FC is still limited in distance until it reaches an interface?
I am lost.
