this surely has to be in the league of urban legends. i was at a conference not too long ago and a woman from manhattan told all us southern belles that we needed to learn how to deal with men they way they did up north and she proceeded to tell the same story almost word for word except that bless your heart meant GFY and it was the northern women using the VH technique. we all laughed and discounted the whole story as most of the transplanted northern women down here were pretty much the same as we are here with the exception of the accent (we don't have one they do <g>) distinguishing women by geographical location is assinine. this is america and we are a melting pot of women with mixed heritages from around the world. a bitch is a bitch no matter where she comes from. now let's drop all this nonsense. she
