this was an obvious "set up", the BS analyst has been on all business channels running the Korea subsidy, China delay mantra for weeks; if I were working for QCOM and going into this environment, I would be certain to have prepared better to respond to these questions. Answering "what if" questions in a public forum is a perfect set up for out of context one-liners like we got today.
Shave a few billion off the market cap for "what if's"; yes it is past time for QCOM staff to go see John Chambers for a tutorial on dealing with Wall Street.
This sorry episode ranks with the "slump" quote earlier this year. Go back to bean-counting Mr. Thornley, please.
All momentum lost from revision of China status and HongKong CDMA meeting, great work.
