Hey, this could be the perfect stock for the times, as it now falls into both the value and high tech growth camps. IF you look at the glass half full, and give management the benifit of the doubt, Citrix is now a value play with prospects of quickly improving earnings near term. Once I made the link in my mind between what Citrixs does, and how that may fit into a large co.s security, I began to have a vision, of the reason why Citrix's products would be in demand going into the future. My seat of the pants thinking is, if I am a large co. I don't want all my internal workings floating out there on the web, I want my own internal network thats my private area and yet, I still want to be able to interface with the web, or other corp. networks, when I decide. IT would seem to me that if one went to an all web based model of internetworking, you would be exposing your innercircle private area of info. to too much access from the more public larger outside circle of the web or semi secure corp. networks. Conclusion Citrix model won't be phased out anytime soon, because the web model has limits on the level security it can provide. I'm just trying to openly brain storm in here, with the hope that my stumbling around, might spark some meaningfull exchanges. |
