i didn't think that i was THAT bad. although i went into it expecting the worst. hey, i like pro wrestling! if you're looking for mindless fun (emphasis on "mindless") and like to drool over cool, shiny cars, this movie's not bad.

Jerry Bruckheimer action movies from the last five years (after Crimson Tide) ranked from best to worst:

1) Enemy of the State - only seen it once but remember liking the paranoia of it. the only time that i've enjoyed Will Smith.

2) The Rock - i've seen it about 5x and it gets worse each time. it MUST be seen on the big screen otherwise the car chase (great car chase) is way too manic. and i can't watch that christ-figure pose that nick cage strikes at the end.

3) Armageddon - Big, over the top, self-indulgent Hollywood action flick. Liked Bruce Willis and the ensemble cast.

4) Gone in 60 Seconds

5) Con Air - I absolutely hate this movie.
