"maligned" implies that QCOM's punishment was unjust - I beg to differ - they shouldn't be missing estimates yet I have a pet peeve about misuse of the word maligned (as well as "literally" - as in "He litterally knocked the other guy into next week" - when one actually means "figuratively") Sportscasters are constantly misusing it - as in "The much-maligned Latrell Sprewell" - where these guys sure as heck aint unjustly knocked. yes, i'm bored at work
