Jim, <I assume you mean that DDR channel is 64 bits wide and there are two of them, one for each processor?> Actually, I think there will be at least two dual-Athlon chipsets. One will be AMD's own 760 chipset, which will support a single DDR channel. The other one will be a chipset from API, which will support dual DDR channels (and the monster 1,000-pin north bridge). Most probably, the chipset from API will make both DDR channels run in parallel, thereby turning two 64-bit channels into a single 128-bit channel. This will then be shared by both Athlon processors.
