Cellhigh, I would say that Carl (Bilow)'s motivation in his posting is to simply be "right". What is the motivation of climbing mount Everest? Just because it is there. What is the motivation for one believing a technology is flawed to prove it? Just because it there. I do not buy those "conspiracy" theories, paid bashers etc. By gosh, I have been bullish and bearish on RMBS many times and I have not heard anyone call me a paid one thing or another. However, last year I did a lot of "Don Qixotic" work on stocks I had no position at all, just because they seemed to be scams and I thought I should warn novices of their dangers (particularly the slew of floorless stock). Believe me, I was attacked in much harsher ways than what Carl is taking here (I even got threatening phone calls from the floorless engineers and in another case my "Boss" was asked to fire me <VBG>). It turned out that more than 90% of the cases I pointed to indeed ended in the gutter. By gosh, the VLNC bulls crowd still has not forgiven the fact that I was bearish on VLNC from $11 to $4 and did not turn bullish until it crossed back above $7. Once it came down from $40 and breached the $30, I became bearish again, and once more I get those "conspiracy" theorists on my back questioning my motives rather than my analysis. Don't question Carl's motives, question the facts he brings to the thread.
