Its only appropriate at a time in which baseball fans across the country are tuned in watch the College World Series, and of course pulling for those ULL Ragin Cajuns & LSU Tigers. Let us not forget about those Medinah Goldiggers. They're playing in a lesser known tournament of life versus the Belittle Bashers. You all heard the story, watched as the Bashers have made a comedy of the Goldiggers efforts. The much more organized, well financed Bashers have made it all the way to the final game by out coaching and out strategizing the Goldiggers and especially humiliating the Goldigger fans. The Medinah fans have traveled across the country to support their team and often (quite often) have thrown in the towel, many have seen fit to hang in and watch the maturity of their team unfold, and even when they still seemed to be outmatched and outwitted they have still made it this far. At times when Coach Price and 1st base coach Regis seemed to stumble with their line up, they brought in some key free agents like House, Tashuk, Godwin, and returning stars like Jones and Ulm, they have battled their way thru spring training aches and pains, pulled muscles, low bank accounts, not less than a handful of other calamities, and watched as the only fans in the stands were from the opposing team, and boy could they holler. Their often Abbott & Costello pitch-hit strategies seemed destined for the left field bleachers but stayed competitive only to make it thru to another day. That day has finally arrived as we catch the action in the bottom of the ninth, bases are loaded, the Bashers lead the Medinah Goldiggers 3 - 0 , the Belittle Bashers head coach Priceless has walked out onto the mound to talk with starting pitcher Special, Catcher - Aunt Bee, batboy - geomax and shortstop WLD have also joined the others at the mound to discuss their next and final pitch. With bases loaded, and a full count facing the cleanup batter and league MVP Greg Chapin at the plate, it is only appropriate that the final outcome would come down to the final pitch, the final out. Trailing 3 - 0 Chapin is not afraid of the situation often facing much harder comebacks to be triumphal. Years of experience has taught him success is made one step at a time and though new to the league and his teammates, he has jelled quite well with them, and brought his team to this point. His batting average has brought many of the fans back to the park, anxious to taste victory, and the right to throw the Bashers back to their minor leagues.

We pick up the action as the coterie' breaks from the mound, Special & bully exchange a few signals, Chapin steps into the box and awaits the finest from Special. Special stares at bully's crotch and focuses on the small matter at hand. He wipes the sweat from his brow, grabs the seams and begins his windup, he stretches and releases his spitball towards Chapin. Greg peers down the barrell of his bat as it connects with the ball ,it richochets off his bat and propels towards deep center field, its high enough, it appears to be long enough............
