This unrelenting FUD around QCOM has shown me that manipulation can be done on ANY stock regardless of the companies underlying fundamentals. There is no doubt in my mind that QCOM will be one of the most successful companies in wireless going forward. However, manipulation can over ride reality when a concerted effort is put in place to bring a stock down. These guys don't give a rat's ass if people are financially ruined. It's about money.

They have been doing this crap for ages. I wish I would have been smart enough to react sooner. I have seen this crap before & lost a ton of money by holding & sticking to my convictions. Again, it doesn't matter what the real fundamentals are. It's about money & these manipulators are raking it in at your expense.

I really feel for those on the porch who are watching their equity disappear. IMHO, this FUD will stop soon enough & QCOM will be back. The bastards who have beat QCOM down will likely go long & sing a different tune sooner or later. I wouldn't doubt that NOK & other companies are doing their best to add fuel to the fire as well with their own FUD spinning. One thing they cannot change is the technology. There is nothing out there that can match what QCOM has locked up in their patent portfolio IMVHO.

If anything, take this as a learning experience & make sure that you don't let this happen to you in the future. I'm sorry for the rambling folks. I do feel bad for you all. I took a severe beating before I bailed even though I thought I had learned my lesson with other stocks in a similar situation. I seem to have to have reality slap me more than once to get the message too.

Good luck.

Tim
