Ever wonder why stock prices change during the day?
1. No change: The market is closed
2. Stock up or down less than 5%. You don't own a tech stock
3. Stock up 10%: Rumor that company will meet earnings
4. Stock up 20%: Rumor that George Soros is buying
5. Stock up 30%: Rumor the company will be bought out
6. Stock up over 40: Rumor that company will spin off an IPO (or you have just bgt an IPO)
7. Stock down 10%: Rumor the CFO has bought a Learjet
8. Stock down 20%: Rumor that George Soros is not buying
9. Stock down 30%: Rumor that The Fed Reserve will raise rates
10. Stock down 40%: Rumor that company will miss earnings
11. Stock down 50%. Rumor there will be no buyout.
There are no other reasons outside of China for tech stock movement.
