SUNW isn't in the shrink-wrapped market. They have
low-cost servers, workstations & terminals that
compete price-wise with anything equivalent from
Dell, Gateway, or CPQ.

However, when you consider TCO & RAS from SUNW they
are in the major leagues playing against AA ballplayers
from the PC arena.

You know, SUNW also charges for service as well, but
people pay for it because they know it's worth it.

Check the financials. Lots of people are paying for
SUNW equipment if their revenues continue to rise at
a 20+% clip year-on-year. You don't know anything
about enterprise markets.
