Not really. But don't you think that a message "challenging" someone in that fashion, and chastizing them as well should have been private?

I do, and I think it's just common courtesy.

Be that as it may, I agree with you. SI threads can't help but get some cross-pollenization of ideas that traverse the threshold of the specific thread topic. That is to be expected, and we're all guilty of it.

In fact, I've got some of my best ideas from threads that are non-stock specific, but even those that are stock specific have good sector ideas and have proved fruitful.

However, you're goals from the get-go were not to tell us about MRVC, but to quasi-challenge someone in an inflamatory way.

Like I said, move that challenge to a PM, and then invite us publically to the MRVC (or some other one, like Gorillas and Kings) thread to better understand what's so compelling.

Thats the distillation of what I am really saying.
