I'm afraid I'm a cynic when it comes to analysts' reports, gg, as I feel that all of them are self serving in some manner. But I pay nothing for them, so I have nothing to complain about. Anyway, most of them know less about Q than the folks on this board.

Today represents an interesting transition for me. I began investing in Q early last April, and it has been my largest holding since June. I used the enormous returns from Q to fund diversification into stocks like ntap, csco, sebl, and gmst during the period from 4Q99 through 1Q00, but left Q as my largest holding by a wide margin. Today, through a combination of qcom's collapse and ntap's remarkable gains (+90.7% ytd), Q has become my second largest holding.

I don't expect this condition to persist for very long. I look for Q to post surprisingly good earnings in July and become my #1 holding again by a wide margin. I'm just ignoring the fud until then.
