Yes, i think 'they're just looking for Elian's stay in the US to be extended' ... standard legal ploy - when you're losing, drag it out ... it's not like the CANF types have any shortage of funds for the legal budget, lol.

Castro is really missing an opportunity here, imho - As it stands now, he begins to lose the moment Eli n is released from the US ... if he came out with a strong clear statement that Juan Miguel is free to go where he pleases with his family, he could retain the majority of his brownie points gained here ... although that would set a precedent, wouldn't it ... well, it's about time for some of those, imho.
