I am listening to CNBC and they are going on with momentum of trashing QCOM.

In the process of talking down QCOM, CNBC just made the following comment:

"...SDLI, of course, has their own CDMA technology."

clearly stating that SDLI has a competitive CDMA technology to QCOM's and they do not have to pay royalties.

Is this true? I thought QCOM got royalties on any use of CDMA.
