A statement about blowing away estimates this quarter sounds good to me. Why on earth not?! How about a press release- stating that QCOM will meet or exceed estimates- and a clarification of the situation going forward with respect to G*, etc. They should never have allowed themselves to be put on the defensive with respect to that situation anyway. They have been on the defensive all year! I am losing confidence in management's ability to deal with Wall Street. They are allowing their message to be obscured, FUDDED, twisted, leaving the stock (and us) twisting in the wind.
