Question:
Today on a stock where a market maker,SHWD,was controlling the action. SHWD would sit on the ask when ever buying occurred and when any rally stopped would drop the ask and bid aggressively. It was the most aggressive display of holding a stock back that I have been aware enough to see.
*is this what is called leaning on the stock?
*when do you know SHWD is done playing the dam?
*if SHWD was trying so hard to control the stock what are the motives? If the stock wants to run that bad wouldn't the Market Maker make more by selling on the way up?
Thanks
