Buy only filling 100 shares on the offer every 17 seconds until the buying pressure ends and then lowering the bid/ask and buying all he can on the bid, a MM is able to accumulate shares cheaper. IOW it sounds like a buyer though you can never really be sure what is going on. This will not be so easily done under Super SOES and should increase volatility.
