BV, Its a shame really. John has so much natural talent, and was so fun to watch in the past. I fear that nothing is going to get this guy focused again. He is his own worst enemy. Crooked Stick was just magic, like Tiger in 97. There is one guy on that leaderboard that I DO NOT want to see win the U.S. Open. I don't think anyone picked him, but I hope he is not around on Sunday. Faldo? Faldo? He was only taking one practice swing AFTER he hit today. Faldo should spend a month with Couples, then he would start to win again. Anyway, it was nice to see and I hope he has a nice finish. You can think too much. Got to play tonight with two brothers from Ireland. The one guy lived here and the other was just visiting. Very interesting to play with the one from Ireland as he played a true British style of golf. I had never really seen anyone play bump and run from 80 yards out. He was really good at it and shot the best round of our foursome by far. Tiger? Can't you just see the other players in the bar tonight saying what could have been had this kids dad liked some other sport. Duval would be number one, yada yada. The emperor is wearing clothes.
