What gets me is that Warburg Pincus apparently dreamed it up and put their stamp of approval on it. Their reputation just got a big stain mark on it. Consider this excerpt from a news release: The spinoff is the result of a plan suggested by investment adviser UBC Warburg, which was hired by ICN three months ago to examine ways to improve share value, Panic said. ``This is exactly what they suggested,'' he said. Well, I suppose that W-P politically could NOT recommend that MP take a hike, or limit himself to managing only one piece. That's gotta be the fatal flaw, IMO. I suspect we will have a new slate of officers to vote for, and MP ain't gonna be their pick for Chmn. I know where my vote is going. I am tired of losing $$.
