Edwarda is a dear friend of mine. As I lead an isolated life, I say that about very few people.
She is smart, sharp, and benevolent. There are many in the first two categories; only a few in the last.
During my first exposures to Edwarda on Feelings, I was struck by her moderation, her absence of hostility, her benevolence. (As well, or course, her wit, intelligence, energy, spirit and more.)
Then I got to "see" her through a description E posted after a lunch they shared. (E, I hope you will dig up this post of yours - and let us all enjoy it again.)
Benevolence and Beauty, yes. (And, with Brightness, it is almost an impossible combination.)
I do not believe in a personal god. Too many nasty things happen. What is happening to Edwarda is Wrong. Is Bad. So, praying to the "being" that brought this situation into being is ridiculous.
I do believe in the "human spirit." Tinkerbell never would have survived without it. Many people defeat dire diseases through application of the positives of their spirits. I am applying the fulness of my spirit to the recovery of Edwarda. Her condition consumes me.
I do not believe in "death." At some point, our packaged matter becomes cosmic matter. That's all. Only survivors die.
Several weeks ago I bought a lavish 99-cent-store surprise for Edwarda - which I intend to give her some day.
You people, so very many of you, have the savvy, the wit to provide Edwarda with something to laugh at, or react to - to appreciate.
Wouldn't it be warm and comfortable to think of her reading your words, and concerns, and love when she is in recovery -when IC is only a memory.
This is all a horrible mistake. I beg that we place our spiritual shoulders against the wheel - and erase it, remedy it.
Edwarda's essence is energy. Adding ours to hers...yes.
Add ours to hers...even through praying.
ok?
