Scumbria... >>Why pay now? What is in it for Toshiba????<< They have been advised by their lawyers that Rambus is on solid ground with their patents. To continue to infringe on Rambus will just create a bigger problem down the road. Better to put this issue behind them and move forward without any further concerns about future litigation. It's that simple.
